The fish cooks in minutes and everything else can be ready to go for a super quick and easy meal.

Super Easy Fish Tacos

1 pound flounder or cod filets
Taco seasoning
Garlic powder
1-2 tablespoons avocado oil

Add the avocado oil to a large skillet over medium heat. While the oil is heating, sprinkle one side of the fish with the taco seasoning and garlic. Sprinkle with your heart…I use about 1-2 teaspoons of seasoning and ½ teaspoon or so of garlic powder.

Place the fish in the pan, seasoned side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the fish is becoming opaque. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the fish.

While it is cooking, sprinkle the other side and then flip. Turn off the heat and let sit for 2-3 minutes. The residual heat of the pan will adequately cook the fish without overcooking it.

Serve pieces of fish in corn tortillas with your favorite toppings. We like:

Guacamole
Coleslaw
Pico de gallo
Pickled red onion
Cilantro
Sprouts
Crema
