I knew too many moms who felt weary…

…from the weight of so much kitchen time.

Even those who love cooking and creating in the kitchen sometimes need a little more inspiration and some easy hacks to help.

And all of us can feel burnout, being stretched thin and just d-o-n-e.

Kitchen fatigue is real.  I feel it sometimes.  I’m guessing you have, too.

Simple shifts in attitude and a little encouragement, coupled with new ways for ease and simplicity in the kitchen, can make things feel so much lighter...easier...and less burdensome.

For years I created recipes and wrote for multiple food blogs and websites demonstrating healthy recipes for young families. I loved going on our local Good Day Columbus morning show as a guest.  Then I transferred some of my kitchen skills into a job as an event planner.

Focusing my skills and experience to help others, is why I launched The Kitchen Light to outreach to and encourage weary moms.

I live in Columbus, Ohio with my foodie husband, our two growing teenage sons, and our adorable Golden Retriever, Murphy Ezekiel (your dog doesn’t have a middle name?).

My former determined-to-maximize-the-healthiness-of-all-family-foods attitude has eased into a more healthful, balanced approach:  starting where you are, loosening the rigid control, stopping the negative self-talk, and moving forward in wellness and ease.

Let’s transform your kitchen weariness into joy.  Switch on The Kitchen Light and see what develops.
