Caramel Apple Bars (GF-One Bowl)

½ cup butter (one stick), softened
⅓ cup honey
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups flour (I used Namaste GF flour)
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup apple chips, cut into ½ - 1-inch pieces
½ cup caramel chips (we love Trader Joe’s)
½ cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 9x9 baking pan and set aside.

In a large bowl, add the butter, honey, and brown sugar. Mix well to combine (no need to use a mixer). Add the egg and vanilla, and mix until combined. Add the flour and salt, and mix again.

Add the chips and stir until combined.

Pour into the prepared pan.

Bake 30-35 minutes or until the edges are slightly browned and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Makes 16 bars.
